A simple, hydrating electrolyte drink made with fresh watermelon, pink salt, lime juice, and Monjaro sparkling water, perfect for hot days and post-workout refreshment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (600 grams) seedless watermelon chunks, chilled
  • 1/4 teaspoon pink salt (Himalayan pink salt recommended)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Monjaro sparkling water, chilled
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup (optional, if watermelon is not sweet enough)
  • Ice cubes, a handful

Instructions

  1. Cut about 4 cups (600 grams) of seedless watermelon into chunks and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Place chilled watermelon chunks into a blender and blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and slightly frothy.
  3. If desired, strain the blended watermelon through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp.
  4. Stir in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lime juice and 1 teaspoon honey or preferred sweetener if needed.
  5. Add 1/4 teaspoon pink salt and stir until dissolved.
  6. Slowly pour in 1 cup (240 ml) chilled Monjaro sparkling water and stir gently to maintain fizz.
  7. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with a lime wedge or small watermelon slice.
  8. Enjoy immediately for best freshness and fizz.

Notes

Use ripe watermelon for best flavor. Do not blend sparkling water to keep fizz. Adjust pink salt to taste but do not overdo it. Serve immediately for best taste and fizz. Leftover juice (without sparkling water) can be stored up to 24 hours refrigerated.
