A quick and festive charcuterie board featuring creamy brie, fresh strawberries and blueberries, crackers, and nuts, perfect for summer parties and 4th of July celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • One 8-ounce (225g) wheel of brie cheese, creamy and soft at room temperature
  • 1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup (150g) fresh blueberries, washed and dried
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry or blackberry jam
  • 2025 mixed crackers and/or sliced baguette pieces
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for drizzling)
  • 1/4 cup (30g) toasted almonds or pecans

Instructions

  1. Remove the brie from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before serving to soften it.
  2. Rinse strawberries and blueberries gently under cold water. Hull and halve the strawberries. Pat all berries dry with paper towels.
  3. Slice the baguette into 1/4-inch (0.6 cm) slices. Toast lightly for about 5 minutes at 350Β°F (175Β°C) if desired. Let cool.
  4. Toast almonds or pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned. Stir often and let cool.
  5. Place the softened brie in the center or slightly off-center of your serving board.
  6. Spoon the jam directly on top of the brie or place it in a small bowl nearby.
  7. Scatter the halved strawberries and blueberries around the brie, mixing colors for a vibrant effect.
  8. Fan out the crackers and baguette slices around the edges or in small piles near the cheese.
  9. Sprinkle toasted nuts on the board and tuck in fresh mint leaves for color and aroma.
  10. Drizzle honey over the brie just before serving, if desired.

Notes

Remove brie from fridge 30 minutes before serving for best texture. Dry berries well to avoid soggy crackers. Assemble board ahead but add honey and fresh herbs just before serving. For vegan or gluten-free options, substitute brie with plant-based cheese and use gluten-free crackers.
