Crisp apple slices topped with a warm peanut butter drizzle, melted chocolate, and crunchy peanuts. A quick, no-bake dessert or snack ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji recommended)
  • Β½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • ΒΌ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
  • Β½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry apples. Cut in half, remove core, and slice into ΒΌ-inch thick wedges. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet or large plate.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and coconut oil. Stir continuously until smooth and pourable, about 2 minutes. Alternatively, microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each.
  3. Drizzle the warm peanut butter mixture evenly over the apple slices using a back-and-forth motion.
  4. Place dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted. Repeat with white chocolate chips if using, in a separate bowl.
  5. Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the apples, then white chocolate if using, in a zigzag pattern.
  6. Immediately sprinkle chopped peanuts over the entire baking sheet. Dust with cinnamon and a tiny pinch of sea salt.
  7. Serve immediately while apples are crisp and drizzle is warm.

Notes

Best served immediately. Apples will brown after about 30 minutes. For a vegan version, use maple syrup and dairy-free chocolate chips. For nut-free, use sunflower seed butter and skip peanuts. If peanut butter drizzle is too thick, add a splash of milk.
