These deviled eggs feature a creamy yolk filling topped with a sriracha spider web pattern, delivering controlled heat in every bite. Perfect for Halloween, parties, or any gathering, they’re quick to make and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Fresh chives or parsley, finely chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Hard-boil the eggs: Place 12 large eggs in a single layer in a large pot. Cover with cold water by about an inch. Bring to a boil over high heat, then immediately cover the pot and remove from heat. Let sit for exactly 12 minutes. Prepare an ice bath. Transfer eggs to ice bath and cool completely, about 10 minutes.
  2. Peel the eggs: Gently crack eggs all over, roll between palms to loosen shell. Start peeling from the wider end. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
  3. Cut the eggs: Slice each egg in half lengthwise. Pop out yolks into a medium mixing bowl. Arrange egg white halves on serving platter, cut side up.
  4. Make the filling: Add mayonnaise, yellow mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the yolks. Mash together with a fork until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  5. Prepare the sriracha mixture: In a small bowl, combine sriracha with milk or cream. Stir until smooth.
  6. Fill the eggs: Spoon yolk mixture into a piping bag or zip-top bag. Snip off tip (about 1/2 inch opening). Pipe filling into each egg white half, mounding slightly above edge.
  7. Create the spider web: Spoon sriracha mixture into a separate small piping bag or zip-top bag. Snip off a very tiny corner. Starting from center of each filled egg, pipe a tight spiral outward (4-5 circles). Using a toothpick, drag a line from center outward through all circles. Repeat 6-8 times around the egg. Clean toothpick between eggs.
  8. Garnish: Sprinkle a tiny pinch of paprika over each egg. Add chopped chives or parsley if desired.

Notes

Use eggs at least a week old for easier peeling. For the best visual effect, assemble and pipe the web pattern up to 2 hours before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; the web pattern will soften but the eggs will still taste great. Do not freeze.
