A fun, no-cook Halloween snack board featuring a spiderweb made of string cheese, crackers, grapes, carrots, and other kid-friendly treats. Perfect for a last-minute party or a pre-trick-or-treating snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12 ounces) string cheese or mozzarella sticks
  • 1 bag (8 ounces) round crackers (e.g., Ritz)
  • 1 cup red seedless grapes, washed and dried
  • 1 cup baby carrots or carrot sticks
  • 1/2 cup black olives, pitted
  • 1/2 cup mini pretzels (stick shape)
  • 1/2 cup cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1012 small plastic spider rings
  • 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your board: Start with a clean, dry serving board.
  2. Create the outer ring: Arrange round crackers in a large circle around the outer edge of the board, leaving a little space between each cracker.
  3. Build the spiderweb with cheese: Pull string cheese into thin strips. Lay strips across the board in a spoke pattern, connecting crackers to the center. Use 4-5 cheese sticks for 8-10 spokes. Then, lay more strips in a circular pattern, weaving over and under the spokes to create a web effect.
  4. Fill the gaps: Place grapes, baby carrots, black olives, mini pretzels, and cubed cheddar cheese in the empty sections, distributing colors evenly.
  5. Add the spiders: Place plastic spider rings on top of the cheese web, crackers, and among the grapes.
  6. Final check: Step back and look at the board. Fill any empty spots with more crackers or grapes. Ensure the cheese web is still visible.

Notes

For best results, use cold string cheese for cleaner strips. Assemble just before serving to keep crackers crisp. Plastic spiders are a choking hazard for toddlers; substitute with edible spiders made from raisins and pretzel sticks if needed.
